Bolinao: The Northern Experience

I consider this trip as a blessing in disguise. Me and my fellow officemates were supposedly bound to Cebu last November 15 but due to unforeseen circumstances (like the earthquake and Yolanda) we had a last minute change of our itinerary. Instead of going south in Malapascua, Cebu we found ourselves nestled in the beautiful sanctuary of Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan.

We stayed at Punta Riviera Beach Resort. The place is very cozy and the staff are very accommodating. To top it all, their food is the best! Name it and they will cook it for you! They actually have the best cook in town and we want to take him/her home. :)

The 6 hour travel from Manila to Pangasinan is all so worth it. We actually took a bus to Alaminos then we took a van going to Bolinao. When we set our foot to Alaminos, the sun is so high and we love its heat.

Enjoying the sun!!!

My favorite pose! ;)

We also had a land tour within the City of Bolinao. Of course, visiting this place will not be complete without seeing the Lightouse Tower, Falls Enchanted Cave, the Rock Formation and the famous Patar Beach. :)

And of course, the Bolinao Church. :)

Definitely, our travel time is so worth it. Can't wait to go back there again!
